Hinako wakes up back into the Dark Shrine, and is asked by the Fox Mask to do three trials. The first of which requires Hinako to go through the first floor of the Shrine. Do not try to pry the doors open for now and head to the right of the labyrinth to reach the main staircase to the left.
From the second floor, you will be forced to fight against Blade Leg Monsters that you'll need to take out. This will allow you to enter a locked door further left. From here, a cutscene plays and you will be given the Fox Arm. Circle back to the first floor to complete your objective.

The Fox Arm is your new implement against foes and obstacles in the Dark Shrine. Being stronger and more functional than the other melees in the game, its primary use is to permanently take down reanimating enemies that respawn by using your Focus Attack button when they are downed.
You can now also open heavy metal doors on the first floor that have been previously locked using the arm. Make sure to run back there to open them!

Going back to the first floor, you will be tasked to go through the second ritual. Using your Fox Arm to open metal doors, you can unlock a passageway to the right of the main staircase earlier that leads to a path down to the second ritual area.
To the left of the Hokora Shrine is a gauntlet room where you have to defeat two Birthing Monsters to proceed. Once done with the fight, open the door to the right to start a cutscene and gain a new ability, the Bestial Form. You can head to the 2nd floor for exploration and return to the 1st floor afterwards.

Bestial Form basically allows Hinako to enter an Awakened burst mode when enough Soul Siphons have filled her charge meter. Use your Special Action key to trigger and revert the burst state. Hinako will permanently kill enemies while the burst is up, gain follow-up combos and deal more damage.
Aside from this, Kudzu-Sealed doors can now be accessed when approached, unlocking more secrets and collectibles! Make sure to use your map and find these specific doors!

Head to the main staircase where you initially went for the first ritual, but this time hit the right stairs and open the kudzu-sealed door. From beyond the Hokora Shrine is a room to the right, featuring another enemy gauntlet with a Drum Monster and some Blade Legs you will have to kill to proceed.
Once eliminated, head to the end of the room with a grand door up front, a cutscene will play and Hinako will be given the Mask of the Fox Clan, the final utility unlocked for this chapter.

The Mask of the Fox Clan allows Hinako to use her Focus ability and unlock secret paths, specifically ones that are blocked by a bloodied seal in the Dark Shrine. Use this to open new paths or secrets left in the Main Hall.

After completing your exploration or receiving the mask, follow the blue light of the Fox Mask and descend to the 1st floor. You can use your new ability to melt through one of the bloodied sigil walls that block the way.
Upon reaching downstairs, we advise saving to the nearest Hokora Shrine then go through the suspiciously blocked sigil wall between the two fox statues seen earlier in the center room. You will trigger a lengthy cutscene afterwards, eventually leading to a boss fight.

On a New Game+ run, you can go to the 2nd floor and melt the bloody wall sigil on the right-side wall of the room, unveiling a secret path leading to a huge shrine that you can enter.
Go to the table and find the Agura no Hotei-Sama, a crucial item necessary for getting the Fox's Wedding ending.
The Rinko-like Entity will be the official second boss fight of the game, featuring phases and harder attacks, similar to the Sakuko-like Entity fought earlier. Unlike Sakuko, Rinko has more aggressive Area-of-Effect attacks on both her phases and will become more aggressive after dealing enough damage to her.
Use your newly-formed abilities such as your Awakened form to tank some hits and deal massive damage to her in return. Be careful when you don't have it charged, however, as Rinko can throw many attacks up close.
After the fight, Hinako faints once again only to wake up back at Shu's House, still alone. She then meets with a strange entity and is forced to go back to her residence.
The Main Boss for this area is the Rinko-Like Entity, featuring strong fire area-of-effect attacks and highly-damaging melee strikes. You can however deal with this boss better with your Fox Arm and when Awakened, allows you to dish damage back at Rinko while the effect is active.
