How to Use Hokora Shrines
Select Record to Save Progress
Select Record at the Hokora Shrines to save your progress. Up to 10 save slots are available, with an additional slot alotted for autosave.
Enshrine Offerings to Acquire Faith
Offerings collected during exploration can be enshrined at the Hokora to acquire Faith. This is the primary way of acquiring Faith in the game, which can be used to either draw Omamori or increase stats via Praying.
Note that some Offerings are consumables that can restore Health, Sanity, or Stamina.
All Offerings Locations and Effects
Spend Faith to Draw Omamori
Faith can be spent at Hokora Shrines to draw Omamori. These can be equipped to acquire passive effects such as restoring health upon a counter, or reducing enemy line of sight.
Note that the Faith cost increases for every draw. The first draw costs 300 Faith, with the second draw costing 400 Faith, and so on.
Pray to Increase Stats
Praying at the Hokora Shrine can increase stats or Omamori slots at the cost of Faith and Ema. Subsequent upgrades have higher Faith cost than the previous tier, with Omamori slot expansions costing significantly higher than stat limit increases.
Change Costumes
Costumes can be changed at the Hokora Shrine. Select Change Costume at the bottom of the menu to switch Costumes for Hinako.
