Before starting the game, be sure to select an Action and Puzzle difficulty that's suited to your preferences. Note that you can't change difficulties mid-game, so be sure to choose between Story, Hard, and Lost in the Fog mode wisely.

Check your inventory after starting New Game+ with the Normal Ending finished. You will have a Brooch in the shape of a fox that can open similarly-designed doors and boxes.

For New Game+ players, as a general reminder, there will be either new notes and journals that you can find around the map, make sure to open your journal and explore the areas ahead to reveal these secrets!

After exiting Hinako's house, take the path leading right, down the mountain. You'll come across the first Hokora to your right along the path, which is a small shrine you can use to save game progress and change Hinako's costume. Continue forward until you reach the town.
All Hokora Shrine Locations: How to Save

On New Game+, you will be able to enter the previously-locked house down south of Shimizu Residence to the right of the usual mountain path. Make sure to loot this place to get all the necessities you'll need later in the game!
Key Items of note to collect here are the Journal Photographs to open the Sacred Sword quest, the Balcony, Treasure Keys and notes for the Faded Bride Doll and a Packing Tips magazine to increase your inventory space.

In New Game+, just south of the road near a red mailbox is a now interactable Jizo Statue. Statues like this will be important later on in the game and you can offer the Bride Doll here.
If you didn't find it in the house earlier, the statue will give Hinako a vision of where the doll is located.

Walk forward to trigger a cutscene that shows a blue pickup truck blocking the way, with a dead bird underneath. Take an alternate route by walking to the path left of the truck, then squeezing through a narrow gap to your right, at the end of the alleyway.
Walk forward to view a cutscene where you meet Sakuko, then continue onward until you meet up with the gang in front of Chizuruya General Store.

Follow the path ahead while avoiding the sprouting red flowers on the floor and red tendrils on the walls, which will grab and eliminate Hinako if you get too close, restarting you at the last checkpoint.
Keep running until you reach a dead end, where a cutscene triggers and a wooden ladder drops, allowing Hinako to escape into another section of the alleyways. Continue forward to find a metal ladder, climb it, and find your way back to the general store.

From the top of the ladder, continue left and hop over the half-wall blocking your path. Squeeze through the narrow gap to your right at the end of the alleyway, then continue forward until you come face to face with the very first monster.

In New Game+, Shu will prescribe some medication for Hinako in the form of Red Capsules which, if consumed, results in the game's Normal Ending.
In order to unlock the other endings of the game, do not consume any Red Capsules at all in your run. Use alternative methods of healing such as Bandages and First Aid Kits when you have them.

On your New Game+ runs, Hinako acquires a Steel Pipe earlier as soon as she drops to the opposite end of the alleyways, it can be picked up along the river path.
When facing the Kashimashi, watch for its approach as it closes into melee range. As it raises its knife overhead, press the O or B button on your controller (BUTTON key on PC) to dodge out of the way.
Dodging consumes stamina, but if you perform the move just before the attack lands, you’ll execute a perfect dodge that restores stamina. Continue forward after, until you reach a house with an open door.
In New Game+, near the river crossing section, you can head left to the map hidden within a tight alleyway and listen to a peculiar broadcast, with this being the first step in unlocking the game's UFO Ending.

Upon entering the house, walk up the stairs to the right, toward the second floor, and enter through the first door in front of you. Interact with the severed face of a Kashimashi found on a corner of the room, underneath a clothesline facing the window, and take out the Bloody Key lodged into it.

After exiting the room, you’ll encounter a Kashimashi waiting on the right side of the hall. Lure it away by running down to the first floor. Once it follows, circle back upstairs to the hallway and proceed into the room it was guarding. Use the key to unlock the door leading outside and continue on your way.

Climb over the balcony railing and descend the ladder into a narrow alleyway. As you move forward, another Kashimashi will block your path. Dodge past it and continue onward until you reach an open area. A cutscene will trigger, revealing another Kashimashi. This time, Hinako picks up a Steel Pipe at her feet, giving her a chance to fight back.

As you move along the path, you’ll notice an Antique Comb to your left and a Hokora shrine at the corner of the alleyway. Pick up the comb, then interact with the Hokora Shrine to access its functions. The Hokora not only saves your progress but also lets you Enshrine items in exchange for Faith.
Faith can be used to Draw Omamori, which provide trinkets that can be attached to weapons to increase their strength. Additionally, on Hard difficulty, you can spend Faith to restore your sanity.
Now armed with the pipe, strike the Kashimashi using a mix of light and heavy attacks until it falls. Keep in mind that each swing consumes stamina, with heavier attacks draining more, so pace yourself instead of spamming attacks.
As you continue toward the general store, eliminate the Kashimashi along the way. Watch their movements carefully and perform counters when the opportunity arises. A cutscene will trigger upon reaching the general store, where you’ll find Sakuko lying on the street, her body covered in red flowers.

After paying respects to Sakuko's body and exiting the general store, three Kashimashis will appear and begin attacking you. Fight back with your Steel Pipe and emerge victorious from the encounter.
Afterwards, Hinako's head pulses, urging her to crumple in agony as the scenery burns away. Upon opening her eyes, she finds herself within the desolate domain of the Dark Shrine.

You'll need to get through the Balcony to get inside, which is also locked. You can find the Balcony Key inside the adjacent room to open the Balcony door. Open that, and it should lead you to the locked room where the Packing Tips can be found.
