The PP-8001 or the Alien Weapon can be obtained after finishing the UFO ending in New Game+. The UFO ending will require you to find the UFO broadcast, all UFO movie posters, and a UFO movie review to get the ending.

You can obtain the PP-8001 (Alien Weapon) as early as Chapter 3 once you finish the UFO ending. This is helpful in your completion runs as you'll now have a weapon that won't break, allowing you to save so many Tool Kits and not waste time searching for replacement weapons.

One of the unique aspects of the PP-8001 is the fact that it can still be used even at 0 durability. However, the range of its attack will also be reduced.
PP-8001 also features a blast attack by performing a 2nd Focus Attack. The range is short but can stun enemies when hit.

Pretty damn useless as weapon, it shouldve been indestructable, otherwise its so damn stupid midfight it switches from one moveset to another, all because its durability decreesed. If it isnt sacred sword moveset you are better off to have sickle or knife.
