On Story difficulty, the School Key, often called as the Vice Principal Key or the Main Building 2F Stair Key, can be found on the first floor of Ebisugaoka Middle School, during Chapter 6. It’s locked inside a drawer that requires a hairpin to open.

You’ll find the hairpin in a shed outside the school. Once you have it, head back to the drawer to unlock it and retrieve the School Key.

On Hard difficulty, the School Key is located outside Ebisugaoka Middle School. Head to the far left side of the area as the Vice Principal Key can be found lying near the blue flower bed.

In Front of the Shed

As for the School Key's location in the Lost in the Fog difficulty, go outside the school and look for a group of blue flowers by the right side of the building. The Main Building 2F Stair Key should be hidden in one of the flower pots.

You need the School Key to progress through Ebisugaoka Middle School. The Vice Principal Key gives access to the second floor, which contains more puzzles and keys that will eventually unlock the Mountain Path at the back of the school.
