Is Vincent in FF7R Intergrade?

Seeing the reveal of Dirge of Cerberus antagonists Weiss and Nero's inclusion in FF7R Intergrade begs the question: Will Vincent Valentine make an appearance?

In an interview with co-director Tetsuya Nomura, it has been confirmed that both Vincent and Cid will be in their original locations. Since the INTERmission DLC takes place in Midgar, we can conclude that Vincent will not be in FF7R Intergrade.

Why is Yuffie Facing Deepground?

Whereas Vincent and Cid have set starting points, Yuffie is a character that moves freely even in the original FF7. It makes sense for her character to show up unexpectedly, she is a ninja after all. This made her the perfect candidate to star in the INTERmission DLC, and it seems that Deepground will pose a threat to her mission to collect the Ultimate Materia from Shinra headquarters.

Weiss and Nero's Role

Long-time fans of FF7 were shocked to see the appearance of Weiss and Nero, especially so early in the narrative. Nomura mentioned the reason these two were chosen is that they needed a powerful villain outside of Sephiroth.
