The info. about finding Chadley in beginning of chpt.17 to fight Leviathan is incorrect. Chadley is not at beginning of chpt. 17 at all.

Might work for level 30 but won't work at lev 23 Heal x3. B with high magic d, 2 hp ups, ele/light on wep, prayer and chakra. 1st cast Steelskin then lifesaver.. Keep topped off with chakra using him most the fight. Barrier/magnify on someone. Tidal will 1hko if don't have level 2 barrier up. Use limits right before tidal wave to stagger him to cancel. If you don't stagger in ~5 sec then cast barrier. You'll survive with barett soaking up damage. Prayer/chakra up and rinse and repeat.

Time to use those thunder spells.

If you want to get it him all you have to do is have Barret use prayer(since he will be your main guy since he will be ranged mostly) and have Tifa with manaward (barrier Materia) with magnify and your set. When he is about to cast Tidal wave (couple seconds) have Tifa cast manaward and Barret use prayer then you should survive it. Good luck.

For those too lazy to read it. Stay close and use lightning spells. As a side note, using an elemental add to your weapon and imbuing it with lightning will also work wonders.
