His overcharge mode takes time to load!!!

Barret feels really weak in the demo. Hope he scales up well later in the game and not just become a guy that kills out of range enemies.
There's something irritating about this character.. Maybe, he's attitude.. but can't tell.. at least he deals massive damage..
thought i was the only one who noticed.. during the demo,, i'd really want to keep using his overcharge shot but it took forever to load..
I actually liked his voice more this time, I think he sounds great.

Barret's damage output is kinda lackluster imo. He can do a burst of damage but that's it. It'll take time before he can do another good burst, making his DPS pretty bad.
I kinda agree. But i think thats how they balance out how strong it can be. It can charge up your ATB pretty fast too, giving you an opportunity to do a massive damage burst.
For me, it's kinda meh. Takes a long while to charge up. And you can only rely on in it to take out one fragile ranged enemy unit. Charging it manually in the middle of battle is also out of the question.
Barret's charge shot ability is a pretty neat addition! Just like Cloud's Punisher mode, it's pretty satisfying hitting the Overcharge shot. And it's effect really cements his position in the party as the hard hitting ranged role.
Sattelite cannon limit break in the remade version. They need to make lengthy animations for those and this is one good example they better not fk up. Always loved that move.
