They move automatically but you can't guarantee that they will be safe. They still get hit sometimes so you might still need to manually move them
During battles like the scorpion sentinel, does your characters automatically move to places to dodge harmful attacks or do I need to switch to them one by one to move them safely?
Finding it hard to issue command with the L2 and R2 buttons. Always switching my current control to the character I want to command then manually using the tactical mode with the Triangle button. Really wish it was more intuitive.
You always had three characters fixed in the original. Why did u expect it to have more in the remake?
I notice that you can only issue commands to two allies, does that mean you can only have up to three characters at a time?
The controls are good. Very intuitive. I was worried with the new action rpg system that the game would be awkward to play. Worried about nothing!
Haha me too! Its feels different because its not turn based anymore but I'm enjoying it.

Agreed. The new combat system is a bit more complex, yet made easier with the intuitive controls. It take a bit to get used to, especially switching and commanding allies, but it's pretty satisfying.
Controls feels intuitive, just like any classic FF game.
There's no confirmation yet for a PC version, so you need a PS4 to play. There could be, since it's announced as a timed exclusive, but as of now it doesn't exist. Sorry dude.

exactly what i have been doing, gonna do some strategy change.
Gotta agree, the game's going to be boring if you just spam square. Not to mention you probably won't get too far just by doing that.
Anyone who says spamming square is the best strategy, better change your difficulty to classic/easy or play another game.
Turn based combat is dead now
