An Accuracy ring can be obtained from the armored knight at the upperleft most corner of the map. The Accuracy ring is specially helpful for axe users who has low hit rates.
There is one lone chest containing an Armorslayer sword, found in the bottom-right corner beside the starting positions, separated by a long wall. The key to the chest is found with the rouge guarding the chest.
The map is a spiral, going clockwise into the center. There is only one special tile, where Miklan stands.
Tiles | Description |
---|---|
Heal Tile+ | +1 Def, +1 Res, and +30%HP per turn |
During enemy turn 2 and 6, two rogues wielding swords will enter the map to the left of your starting position. This will expose your backline and can be potentially dangerous.
Once your units reach the northernmost corridor, two Rogues will spawn from the top-right corner for two turns.
You will have Gilbert as an AI controlled ally. While there will be enemies flanking your backline, if Gilbert gets left behind he can handle them easily, as they cannot damage him.
Keep your units away from the tiles adjacent to the walls of the center room where Miklan is located. Archers in there can shoot at your units from the safety of the wall. Alternatively, you can position your archers and mages there to retaliate.
If you have a high level enough archer like Claude, you can position yourself in the wall on the top of Miklan's chamber, and shoot him with Curved Shot. Take note that this will take a long time if done alone, as Miklan heals every turn, but great if you need to soften him up before your troops arrive.
There are five enemies in this level that drop Vulneraries. This will be useful when fighting the Black Beast, as it can do high damage over a wide area.
As Gambits prevent you from taking damage, a unit that last used a battalion against a demon beast will take its agro. Using another battalion while it's focused on a target will stun the beast and will prevent it from countering.
This is your first encounter with a Demon Beast. Demon Beasts have yellow tiles beneath them that indicate a higher defense when attacked on that specific tile. These tiles can be destroyed by attacking it or using a battalion. Destroying all tiles will severely weaken the beast making it easier kill and will net you some crafting items.
