Defeat Liu Bei

There are no Marking Flags and Battle Flags in this side quest. Instead, you'll need to defeat Liu Bei in a boss fight.

Summons a Divine Beast to Grant Buffs

Buff	Effect
Resonation	Applies Lightning damage to the weapon. Increases Spirit gained from attacks and decreases HP damage taken.
Qinglong's Resurrection	Recover HP when inflicting damage. Effect disappears if the user is inflicted by poison.

Lui Bei occassionally summons a Divine Beast to grant buffs for himself. This gives him Lightning damage to his weapon which gives you the Electric Shock status effect if he attacks or guards your attacks. Be sure to guard against his attacks once he summons the Divine Beast and only deflect if he performs a Critical Blow.

Status effect that appears when getting hit by a Lightning elemental weapon. Poison resistance attribute decreases and morale gradually decreases.

Deflect Liu Bei's Critical Blows at Medium Range

Liu Bei uses a rushing-type Critical Blow if battle him at medium range. This attack can be easily deflected and allows you to reduce his Spirit Gauge.

Be careful not to get too close to Liu Bei as he will perform a fast attack that is more difficult to deflect.
