The quest will start after hearing the villagers in Urialla Harbor talk about it when near enough to them.

The Tower Outta Nowheres Walkthrough
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 | Talk to the fishermen in the middle of the village. Tell them you will look into it to continue. |
| 2 | Head to the tower. |
| 3 | Enter the portal inside the tower. |
| 4 | Destroy the Golem that will attack you. |
| 5 | A man will call out to you through one of the magic barriers. Talk to him. |
| 6 | Go to the next chamber after the mage removes the magic barrier. |
| 7 | Swim through the cave and take the left path to the next chamber. |
| 8 | Kill the 3 Alghouls the DRM teleports into the chamber. |
| 9 | After slaying the Alghouls a Gargoyle will appear next. Kill it to continue. |
| 10 | A Werewolf will be teleported next. Kill it to continue. |
| 11 | In the east side of the chamber is a table with a box on it. Loot the box to find the key. |
| 12 | Go back to the flooded chamber and swim to the lock door. Dive under and use the key to unlock it. |
| 13 | Enter the library and use your Witcher Senses to find the grimoire. |
| 14 | Bring the grimoire back to the mage. |
| 15 | Follow the mage to the central chamber. |
| 16 | Defeat the Earth Elemental. |
| 17 | Talk to mage after destroying the Golem. Receive Moonblade and a Lesser Svarog runestone from the mage. |
| 18 | Swim back to the village. A cutscene will play when close enough. You can choose to accept their reward, giving you 65 Crowns. Or you could decline the reward, giving you nothing. Gain 50 XP for completing the quest. |
The Tower Outta Nowheres Tips and Strategies
Use the Mage's Lightning
When fighting the Earth Elemental, the mage will use lightning spells, indicated by electricity on the ground. After a short delay, bolts of lightning will come out of these spots. Lead the elemental on them and use Axii or Aard to stun them for the lightning to hit.
