How to Unlock The Path of Warriors
You will need to complete the side quest The Tower Outta Nowheres for this quest to become available. You can start the quest by talking to the woman in Uriella Harbor or by talking to Gunnar at Trail to Yngvar's Fang.
Is The Path of Warriors Missable or Failable?
You can fail the quest if you talk to Gunnar after going through the cave and not taking the token.
The Path of Warriors Walkthrough
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 | If you talked to the woman to start the quest, you will need to speak to Gunnar about the trials. |
| 2 | Head to the start of the path. |
| 3 | Follow the path. Jump over the first gap. |
| 4 | Near the next gap, a Harpy and 5 Sirens will be nearby. You might have to kill them before being able to jump the next gap. |
| 5 | Continue the trail, climping up the mountain, climbing up the ledges, and jumping over the gaps. |
| 6 | When the trail breaks off you will need to slow down the path to the stone road below you. Follow it to some ruins. |
| 7 | When you reach the ruins, do not enter the wooden door. Instead look for stone stairs leading to a grabbable ledge. |
| 8 | Jump up the ledge and the next ledges after it. |
| 9 | Leave the ruins through the door back to the trail. |
| 10 | Continue following the trail. You will know you are on the right track when you encounter a hut and an old man outside. |
| 11 | Continue up the path. 2 Harpies will be flying over after jumping up the first ledge. Kill them to continue. |
| 12 | Climp up to the top. |
| 13 | At the top will be a totem. Loot the totem for the token. You will also gain 50 XP after looting the totem. |
| 14 | Take the path northwest of the totem. You will have to slide down the mountain. |
| 15 | Enter the cave. |
| 16 | Proceed into further into the cave until you reach some water. |
| 17 | Jump into the water and dive. Swim deeper into the cave. |
| 18 | When you reach the next area you can surface, go ahead and do so to refill your breath. Note: Do not climb up onto the land. There will be 2 Gargoyles and no token. |
| 19 | Continue swimming through the cave. When you reach the next area you can surface use your Witcher Senses to find a chest. Loot the chest for the last token. |
| 20 | Surface up and climb onto land. Continue into the cave to get to the exit. |
| 21 | Outside the cave will be 3 Bandits. |
| 22 | Head back to Gunnar and show him the proof to end the quest. Receive 50 XP, Diagram: Assualt gauntlets, Mag Deira cuirass, Sewant mushrooms and Hardened leather. |
The Path of Warriors Tips and Strategies
Place of Power
There is a Place of Power right next to the totem at the summit. Do not forget to draw from it for a bonus to Quen and a free Ability Point.
Cat and Killer Whale Potion are Useful
The cave is going to be dark, so drinking the Cat potion will make navigating the cave much easier. You will also have to swim a good distance, ingesting Killer Whale potion will guarantee you will not run out of breath.

The Path of Warriors is somewhat worth doing
This quest gives you somewhat useful benefits when you complete it. It is up to you to decide whether the things you gain from this quest will benefit you greatly.
