How to Unlock From a Land Far, Far Away
Go to the small island east of Redgill. Pick up the journal found on the island and read it to start the quest.

This quest is not failable.
From a Land Far, Far Away Walkthrough
| Objectives | |
|---|---|
| 1 | On the southern side of the island you will see a sunken ship. Dive and loot the chest. Read the Captain's log to continue. |
| 2 | Head to the marked location south of Novigrad. You can find a warrior in Ursten. You can choose to talk to him or not. Talking to him can affect what happens later. If you tell the warrior you will not help him, he will attack you and you will have to kill him. |
| 3 | You will find a wrecked ship in the northwest part of the marked area along the shore. |
| 4 | Use your Witcher Senses to find 2 sets of footprints and follow them. |
| 5 | You will encounter a woman. Chase after her. |
| 6 | If you did not talk to the warrior earlier, you can give her the documents you found. |
| 7 | A warrior will appear after you give the documents or will appear immediately if you talked to him earlier and did not kill him. You can choose to protect the woman or let him kill her. If you fought and killed him earlier, she will reward you right away. |
| 8 | If you protected the woman you will recieve 50 XP and a Stone Medalion if you accept her reward. Receive nothing if you tell her to keep it or let the warrior kill her. |

From a Land Far, Far Away is not worth doing
We do not recommend doing this quest. The benefits that you gain from this quest are not very useful for your progression in the game. Finishing this quest will be mainly for the sake of the game's completion and to have more knowledge about the Witcher World.
