How to Unlock Crime and Punishment
You can encounter a man tied to a rock with harpies circling him on the shore east of Ancient Crypt. Once you get close enough, the quest will begin.
Is Crime and Punishment Missable or Failable?
The quest will fail if you do not choose to free him then get too far from him.

| 1 | Kill the 3 Harpies. |
| 2 | Talk to the man tied up on the rock. You can choose to free him or leav him tied up. If you leave him tied up and get too far from him, the quest will fail. Setting him free will give 10 XP and complete the quest. |
Is Crime and Punishment Worth It?
Crime and Punishment is not worth doing
We do not recommend doing this quest. The benefits that you gain from this quest are not very useful for your progression in the game. Finishing this quest will be mainly for the sake of the game's completion and to have more knowledge about the Witcher World.
