How to Fight

Fighting an Alghoul is almost like fighting a more powerful Ghoul. The best way to deal with an Alghoul is fight it while keeping it calm during combat. You can do this by constanly casting the Axii Sign on them whenever they are vulnerable.

If an Alghoul's spikes have grown, this is the perfect time to cast the Axii Sign on it to calm it down. Attacking an Alghoul with grown spikes will deflect all your attacks and damage you at the same time.

If you are dealing with a pack of Alghouls, it is recommended that you kill them off one by one. Sometimes Alghouls will start regenerating and it is harder to deal with multiple Alghouls regenerating while you are trying to spread out your damage.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Necrophage oil to deal bonus damage to them.

Special Sign Effects

  • Axii - This will calm them down every time this is cast on them. It is a must to cast this when their spikes have grown.
