List of Decorations

This is a list of decorations in Monster Hunter World (MHW) and Iceborne. Check the tables below to find out each Feystone's appearance rate as well as the number of slots and skills attached to each decoration!

What are Decorations?

Decorations are a way of giving yourself skills that the armor set itself doesn't have. These can be switched out in between quests, so you can put in whatever decoration best suits your build and/or your next target. For example, if you are hunting Rathian, you would typically want to put a couple of Fire Res Jewels or Antidote Jewels.

Decorations have different rarities as well, and the rarer it is, the better.

How to Use Decorations

Keep in mind that decorations only become available after you reach high rank. High rank and master rank gear can have slots for decorations. You can put decorations in at your Item Box or at the Smithy.

What decoration you can put in and how many will depend on how much space your gear has, and how many slots each space has. For example, decorations that have a 2 at the end need two slots. So it cannot fit into a space that only has one slot. However, spaces that have two slots can fit decorations that need either one or two slots.

Decorations are sometimes awarded at the end of a quest. You can also meld these at the Elder Melder using unwanted decorations and research points.

First Wyverian Ritual

If you do not see the decoration you want on the list, you can also use the First Wyverian Ritual at the Elder Melder, where you can trade Streamstones and unwanted decorations for a new decoration. However, the First Wyverian Ritual involves RNG, meaning you will not get to choose which decoration you will get, so meld at your own risk!

The Greatest Jagras

Once you reach HR50, you can also farm decorations from an event quest called ★9 The Greatest Jagras. If you don't mind seeing a Great Jagras swell up and vomit decorations, you can reliably collect a lot after he's done. Then you can just return from the quest once he moves on to another area; no need to hunt it at all.

Decoration Rarity and Appearance Rate

At the end of a quest, you will sometimes receive Feystones as a reward. These will immediately get converted into decorations at the end of a quest. Each Feystone has different probabilities for what rarity of decoration you are going to get, so make sure to set your expectations.
