How to Complete A Better Bioblaster

Find the Bioblaster

To find the Bioblaster, go to Keycatrich Trench. Near the entrance of the dungeon, you will notice a sparkling blue matter at the top of the rock formation on the left side. Go above the said rock formation and look for it. Once found, pick it up to receive the Bioblaster.

Talk to Cid

Speak with Cid. He will help you upgrade your weapon, but you need to find the item that he is asking.

Find the Dynamo

You can find a Dynamo by defeating the following:

• MA-Hoplomachus [Drop Rate: 95%]
• MA Veles-Bis [Drop Rate: 60%]
• MA-Veles [Drop Rate: 50%]
  
  Since MA-Hoplomachus has a higher drop rate, it is best to get the Dynamo from it. To find an MA-Hoplomachus unit, go to Formouth Garrison.
  

Upgrade to Bioblaster Plus

Talk to Cid by returning to Hammerhead. Hand over the Dynamo to upgrade the Bioblaster. Upgrading this weapon will take some time; spend it by hunting or sleep at any haven. Wait for Cid's call and go back complete this sidequest.
