I don't think talking about the original is going to hurt anyone, so both, I guess.
If we're talking about the original, can I just gush about the sound effects? These were just as iconic as any other part of the game
Loves the detail they added to see materia slots kn equipments. Hated it because it doesnt change when you uograde the weapon so like, why bother square? Such a half assed job.
Even though it's not the world's greatest implementation of turn-based combat, I appreciate Square for putting in classic mode
Made me teary when I first heard the battle theme and how they inserted it. I literally freaked out and the memories of the original all surged in.
That moment was so lit. Havent played the game and only watched it from sneak videos but it still hyped me so much.
Can we take some time to appreciate the voice acting? Everyone sounds like exactly what I imagined them to sound in 1997
Yeah, the voice acting is really good. Never got tired of hearing them throughout my whole playthrough
