All posts (71 total)How can you be so sure? Red clearly said that the glimpses they saw were posssible events in the future but since the whispers are gone, all of this goes down the drain.
Nothing is sure now. They even said Yuffie is now a canon character and not optional (if I remember right)
So I guess its safe to assume that the same goes for vincent.
Like awooo the whispers force you to go into a forest and make all the right choices to get yuffie. Damn that would suck. Oops forgot the whispers are gone now.
The next thing we know, these whispers open a new dimension and donald appears from the portal and guess what? He still wont heal you.
Just really wishing square knows what they're doing. Really sad for the new players though.
Based on what happened with kingdom hearts 3 and the criticism it recieved. Im guessing they kinda dont know.
Dont be sad for them. The fact that they only played ff7 remake cause ita trending already means they're not even remotely intereated about the og game. They had 23 years to play. IMO those people are jusy bandwagons.
I wouldn't say they're just part of the bandwagon. The game was marketed as a game for both old and new players, and it's hard to get into a game that old
I guess you're right. But as a defense for myself. Checking any top rpg list and you would always see ff7 there so they still have a chance at playing it but yeah. It was too soon for me to say its just the bandwagon.
Nah, don't worry I see your point. But I guess the only people who would be checking out top rpg lists are those interested in RPGs, so not everyone's gonna find out about FF7 that way
Anyone thinks these whispers are the reincarnation of cloud and others from the 7 original. I mean they prolly died of old age there already and theyre using the ancients powers to go to this timeline and stop it from changing. Half assed theory.
You call it half-assed but I read taht somewhere else so you're not the only one thinking that. It kinda makes sense if you think of the original timeline as the best timeline

Aerith dying, avalanche team getting wiped out, barret's bro and other lots of tragedies and yet it ends up being the best timeline. If thats true then how grim will this remake be?
