The Ghillie Mantle immediately disappears after using an attack or getting hit by anything. Attacks also include using interactables like the Cannons so make sure to avoid doing anything that can damage monsters if you wish to remain stealthed.

Useful Against Fatalis

Fatalis has a unique opening strategy where you use the Ghillie Mantle to load 2 cannons to max. By doing so and equipping a maxed Heavy Artillery skill, you can take down Fatalis after 6 cannon hits. This is the best opening to use against the monstrous Fatalis.
