You guys should farm for the Shadow Walker armor. It's the best armor against the Heart of Ender.

I think Heart of Ender has the highest drop rate for unique gears. I beat him twice and got a unique bow and armor.

You can also fall out of the area. you will respawn outside the arena so you can wait for your potion to recover. Heart of Ender and the Arch-Illager doesn't recover any health so you can say it's a good strategy.
