Yep. I think it's okay how it is now. no need to change anything in the game.
The game would ridiculously become longer if they did that. why? because they would also adjust the surroundings and environment.
Then an over-the-shoulder perspective will also do the job, right? Maybe if they made this like a third-person shooter it would be great.
hmmm. I don't think this would be possible. there would be a lot of mobs that will attack you. A top-down view is perfect for that so you can see if there are enemies on your back.

Yes 1st person PoV is definitely more immersive. I don't think I'm buying the game but just like what Anon4 said, I hope some elements trickle down to vanilla minecraft. I mean, there are already mods but thats not what I mean
Hmm. but what made minecraft combat so amazing for me was the 1st person view. Getting to that blaze spawn while withers, ghasts, the rare magma block try to harass me too~~~~~ best gameplay!!!

It's a nice concept. I hope its really fun. I cant tell by watching YT gameplays
Yes combat feels kind of similar to vanilla minecraft. Think minecraft....but 3rd person + diablo gameplay
I'm so excited! I hope they are able to capture the feel of vanilla minecraft combat! It's so simple but it feels very crisp!
