How to Level Up Quickly

★ Game8's Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Wiki is live now!

This is a guide for leveling in Final Fantasy XV. Read on to learn the methods of increasing the party's level quickly and more!

Use Expericast

Expericast

The most efficient way to farm EXP is by crafting Expericast.

Use Rare coins or Debased Silverpieces as catalyst to craft Expericast as they give higher EXP bonus.

You can only cast Expericast during battles. It does not have to hit anything to get the EXP, you just need to cast it.

Doing Side Quests

Sidequest EXP

There are more to leveling than doing storyline quests! If you see a question mark (?) on your map, check it out right away and accept the side quest that will be given to you. This way you can gain more EXP to level up especially if you are having a hard time fighting the enemies on the storyline quests.

Defeat Daemons

Iron Giant

Strong enemies known as daemons spawn at night. These enemies yields more EXP but this also means that the battle will be more challenging. Practice your techniques and gear up so you can farm EXP from daemons!

Rest at Lodgings

Royal Suite

Like camping, lodgings also tally your EXP to increase your level. Lodgings cost gil to use, though, but they can give huge EXP boosts! These can be more rewarding if you have farmed a lot of EXP before deciding to cash it in.

Recommended Lodgings

Location Price EXP multiplier
The Leville (Royal Suite) - Altissia 30,000 Gil 3.0x
The Quayside Cradle - Galdin Quay 10,000 Gil 2.0x
Three Z's Motel - Longwythe Rest Area 300 Gil 1.5x

Equip Moogle Charms

An accessory called Moogle Charm increases the EXP that you obtain by 20%. Multiple Moogle Charms stack and therefore should be equipped when grinding levels.
