I don't think Zack's alive, I think you just see a glimpse of him from an alternate timeline, based on this article I read

Hojo revealed (almost) Cloud's backstory
Might be minor but shinra destroyed their own reactor. I dont remember that happening in the original (1st reactor)
Hope that's true. But if zack survived in the same timeline then questions will really rise. Most impoetant questikn is why tf does cloud have the buster sword.
So based on the list, I guess the 3 most important things are zack, whispers, and the ending. Zack has a chance of being just a glimpse of an alternate timeline. Like a what if scenario. I am not happy with these changes.
Im not seeing a graphical comparison change and gameplay change. JK pls continue, this list is interesting.
It didn't say anything about shira doing that in original but it didn't say they didn't that's a pothole they can cash in and add to
It could be a flashback that wasn't in original from where I'm at he has them alot
A bunch of the Wall Market characters don't exist in the original. These include Leslie Kyle, Andrea Rhodea, and Madam M among others
That's why I think it's just a Zack from an alternate timeline. A lot of stuff won't make sense about Cloud if Zack actually survived.
Let us hope from the bottom of our hearts. I mean, seeing cloud fight together with zack would definitely look dope af but we're happy seeing that in fan made animations and not a canon game.
