How to Beat Behemoth

Behemoth Strategy

Do Not Attack Aggressively

Behemoth's attacks are quick and fatal. Attacking without analyzing its moveset will put you at a severe disadvantage.

It is best to perform Parries and Dodges here and there first until you master its moves and know how to counter its attacks.

Fight From A Distance

Behemoth can be deadly when fought head-on at close combat because of its swift attacks. The best strategy is to fight it from a distance

Behemoth has ranged attacks that it will use when fought at a distance, this is easier to evade than its close combat counterparts. Once successfully dodged or parried, performing a Rush attack is recommended, and then continue your combo from there, then rinse and repeat.

Best Combos

Be Aware of the QTEs

If you continuously attack Behemoth, a QTE (Quick Time Event) will take place occasionally. Being aware of this is key in order for Eve not to receive damage.

You will need to continuously mash the Square Button until you overpower Behemoth, failing to do so will lead to Eve taking damage.

New Attacks at 60% HP Below

Once Behemoth's HP goes down to 60%, new attacks will be added to its moveset.

Do Not Perform Retribution Until 60% HP

It is best to perform a Retribution after Behemoth goes down to 60% HP. When you do it beforehand, Behemoth will have a damage cap and will just reach 60% regardless of how much damage you can actually deal with Retribution.

Save it for when Behemoth's HP goes down at the correct percentage.
