RPG MAKER WITH's "Tileset" are a collection of objects, items, etc. used for designing maps. Read on to learn more about "Tileset" and how to use them.
Tilesets are a group of objects, structures, geographical features, or items placed on a map. They are significant parts of creating maps, allowing players to visually design Events and establish the setting of a game.
RPG MAKER WITH currently offers six Tileset that you can use for your maps. However, more Tileset might become available in the future via DLC.
1 | In the "Map Editor" screen, open the "Tile Palette" by pressing the Y Button. |

2 | Select a tile by using the Left Analog Stick or the Arrow Buttons. You can also switch between different "Tilesets" by pressing the L or R Buttons. |
3 | After selecting a tile, press the A Button. You can also hold the A Button to select two or more tiles. |
4 | After selecting a tile, you will go back to the Map Editor screen. This allows you to place the selected tile by pressing the A Button. You can also erase a tile by pressing the B Button. |
1 | To change a tile's attribute, press the ZL Button and select "Go to Database." |

Basic Settings | Allows you to change the Name and Mode of a Tilesets. |

Images | Set the images to be used in a Tilesets. |
Passage | Set whether a character can pass through a tile. |
Passage (Vertical) | Set the direction from which a character can enter a tile |
Passage (Horizontal) | Set the direction from which a character can enter a tile |
Ladder | Makes the character look like climbing a ladder |
Bush | Set a tile, making the lower part of the character hidden. |
Counter | This allows an Event to trigger even if there is a tile between a character and an Event. Useful for shops or inns Events. |
Damage Floor | Sets a tile to deal damage when walked on by a character. |
If you want to change the attributes of a specific tile, you can change them via the Tilesets Database. Make sure to save your edits to reflect the changes you made in the Database.
