RPG MAKER WITH Skill Types

In RPG MAKER WITH, you will encounter and even create multiple Skills. Setting Skill Types is a way to categorize skills. The default Skill Types are "None," "Magic," and "Special." For instance, a fireball spell can be classified as Magic.

You can edit and create Skill Types to control what skills a character or a class can use. For example, you can restrict a warrior's learnset by assigning a particular Skill Type to it.

How to Set Skill Types

To set "Skill Types", press the ZL Button and select "Go to Database."

Move your cursor to "Skills" and select an existing skill or create one.

Go to "Basic Settings" and select Skill Types, which is under the "Description" box.

Press the A Button and select between "0001 Magic" and "0002 Special."
