A Gold Bone can revive Luigi if his health is depleted in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon). Read on for more information about the Gold Bone and how to get it.
List of Contents
If you have a Gold Bone in your possession, Luigi can be automatically revived by a Polterpup in case he loses all his health. Upon being revived, Luigi should go back to being at full health.
Take note that all the damage you receive will still be recorded in your final results even after being revived with a Gold Bone. If you lose enough health to require the Gold Bone, it most likely means that you will have a low rank for the mission.
If the Gold Bone isn't used up during the mission, it gets added to your treasure and converted into 200G. Try your best not to use your Gold Bone if you're trying to earn more money.
A Gold Bone will only spawn once you earn a certain amount of money within the mission. You'll need to collect somewhere around 200G during the mission for the Gold Bone to appear.
How to Get Treasure (Money) Fast
The location of the Gold Bone is random every time you do a mission, since its spawn point depends on when you earn enough money to unlock it.
Once you do reach the required amount, the next object you investigate using the X button should contain the Gold Bone, as long as it doesn't contain any other important items.
You can only get one Gold Bone per mission, and it is only usable in the same mission you obtain it in. If Luigi loses all his health twice, it will result in a game over, and you will have to restart the mission.
