Spider webs can be either vacuumed up or burned during mission A-5 of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon). Read on to learn about the different types of spider webs in the game and how to remove them.
List of Contents
You can deal with the large web clusters in mission A-5: Sticky Situation by vacuuming up a ball of web and bringing it to an open flame to burn. This turns your Poltergust into a makeshift torch, allowing you to burn webs, spiders, and other objects that come into contact with the burning ball.
Some webs can be burned by pulling a long spider thread bunched up at the end and leading it to a fire, burning the whole web cluster.
A-5 Sticky Situation Walkthrough
If you find yourself stuck trying to get through large webs that can't be vacuumed up, and you're in a mission prior to A-5, then you're probably going the wrong way.
In the first mansion, getting rid of webs is only a key part of mission A-5. The balls of web required to burn down the large spider webs cannot be found in any of the previous missions. However, there are missions after A-5 that allow you to burn spider webs.
Most cobwebs can simply be vacuumed up with your Poltergust if they don't take up whole walls or block paths.
Make sure to get rid of both the large web clusters as well as the smaller webs when doing mission A-5.
