The Bonus Mission, Gradual Infiltration, is unlocked by capturing all the Boos in the Gloomy Manor. Additionally you would have to complete the Boss stage for the respective mansion to unlock the bonus mission.

The ghost that appear during this bonus mission may appear at different locations across multiple attempts. Check your map to see which areas are infested with ghosts.
Rush towards the first room in your list. Use your Strobulb to stun ghosts, and reel them in with a fully charged Poltergust A-Pull. Next two rooms will given after clearing the first room.
Strategically choose the room closer to your current room to save time. After clearing both rooms, you will receive the third list of infested rooms. This time it will be 3 infested rooms. After clearing the last set of rooms, the bonus mission will end.
