C-4 Play Catch Gems and Boo Location Guide

This is a walkthrough for all gems in C4 Play Catch, as well as how to clear the level and find the boo in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD for the Nintendo Switch. Read on for a detailed guide for C-4 Play Catch, including how to get 3 stars, gem locations, as well as the location of the boo.

C-4 Play Catch How to Get 3-Stars

C-4 Play Catch Objectives

1. Chase the Dog and Get the Hour Hand.

Chase the Dog and Get the Hour Hand

Clockworks Court

Once you gain control of Luigi in the Clockworks Court, inspect the area for treasure. Use the Strobulb, to lift the beam and pass through. Use the Dark-Light Device to reveal the hidden the path towards the chest to the left of the clockwork court. Capture the spirit balls and then interact with the chest to get treasure. Once you're done inspecting the area head through the door leading to the Warehouse.

Warehouse

Capture the Greenie inside, then head to the door on the very right towards the Workshop. Interact with the drill press in the Workshop to trigger the Polterpup to flee the area.

Workshop

Pull on the cord hanging from the ceiling and wait for the gold spider to spawn. Flash it with your Strobulb for added treasure. Head east to the Clock Tower Gate.

Clock Tower Gate and Cargo Room

Use the Dark-Light Device on the missing lantern. Capture the Spirit Balls to spawn the Boo in the Clock Tower Gate. Once captured head into the Cargo Room and go up the ramp towards the door leading to the second floor of the Clock Tower Gate. Check the box for a Golden Bone before passing through the door.

Go through the walkway towards the Drafting Office to find the Polterpup.

Drafting Office and Warehouse

Inspect the cabinet to spawn the pup causing it to flee the area once more. Blow on the rotor on the ceiling to move the walls and pass through the opening towards the second floor of the Warehouse. Capture the Greenie inside the Warehouse to unlock the door to the Clockmaker's Chambers.

Clockmaker's Chambers, Roundhouse, and Transportation Hall

Once inside the Clockmaker's Chambers, inspect the cabinet on your left and the Polterpup will flee the room once more. Follow the pup to the Roundhouse. Cross the narrow beam to where the pup is, then follow it to the Transportation Hall. Go through the first door on your left to the Finishing Rom.

Finishing Room and Container Yard

The Polterpup will be there with a Greenie and two Slammers. Capture the ghosts in the Finishing Room to continue chasing the dog. Follow the Polterpup to the Container Yard. Interact with the bomb dispenser to lower the walkway. Once across, flash the bombs with the Strobulb to detonate them, lowering the basket to the exit. Exit back to the Transportation Hall, catch the Polterpup off guard, then flash it with the Strobulb and vacuum it with the Poltergust to get the hour hand.

Gem #1 (Circle Ruby)

Where to Find	Clockworks Court

In Clockworks Court, head towards the east side, use the Dark-Light Device to reveal a toolbox at the end of the rail, and open the toolbox to obtain the Circle Ruby.

Gem #2 (Triangle Ruby)

Where to Find	Warehouse

Enter the warehouse, use the Dark-Light Device to reveal a green barrel near the door on the north, place the barrel on the machine to unwrap its green wrap, and a Triangle Ruby will drop. The green barrel is on top of a box, on the right side of the door that leads to the Roundhouse.

Where to Find	Clock Tower Gate

Upon entering the Clock Tower Gate, head towards the north side by the broken window, use the Dark-Light Device to reveal a toolbox, and open it to obtain a Rectangle Ruby.

Gem #4 (Football Ruby)

Where to Find	Storm Cellar

Head down to the Storm Cellar, defeat all the enemies, suck up the sheet that is covering the painting on the southwest corner, use the Dark-Light Device on the painting above the bed, and a Football Ruby will drop.

Gem #5 (Drop Ruby)

Where to Find	Canyon Stairs

Head to the Canyon Stairs, go up the platform on the east, and use the Poltergust to suck the Drop Ruby that is stuck up on the east wall.

Gem #8 (Star Ruby)

Where to Find	Roundhouse

After the cutscene, upon entering the Roundhouse, go across the railings on the left side to get to the north side. Then, go across the railings on the right side to get to the south side, head towards the south east, and open the toolbox at the very end of the balcony to obtain the Star Ruby.

Where to Find	Roundhouse

Head down to the lower floor of the Roundhouse, go down a couple of stairs, then head west and use the Poltergust to suck the Octagon Ruby stuck up on the north wall.

JamBoolaya Location

Enter the clock tower gate and use the Dark-Light Device on the right side of the big clock, where a lantern originally was. Suck up all the spirit balls to reveal the Boo.
