1. Find and retrieve the Dark Moon piece.

Find and retrieve the Dark Moon piece

When the mission starts, you'll be in the Clock Tower Gate. Inspect the clockface to trigger a cutscene. When the cutscene ends, look through the cracks in the wall to see three large gears labelled “7”, “3”, and “0”. Blow on the rotor to adjust the time on the clockface until it says 7:30 to reveal the door to Movements.

Check the window on the west side, use the Poltergust to get the Mushroom Ruby. Use the Poltergust on the valves of the three large gears to cause the platform to rise. Once it reaches its maximum height, pass through the door to the Belfry. Approach the ladder to trigger another cutscene. Defeat the Overset Possessor and retrieve the Dark Moon piece to end the mission.

Phase 1

Defeat each round of ghosts as you would normally. After summoning the Overset Possessor, dodge its attack until the shield dissipates. Use your Strobulb to stun it, the latch on with the Poltergust to capture the first layer of the boss.

Phase 2

In the second phase you also have to deal with sand that slows your movement. Defeat the ghosts as you normally would, then use the established strategy against the Overset Possessor to capture its second layer.

Phase 3

In the third round, you have to deal with the sand and you take damage if you are hit by the minute hand. Deal with the ghost as you have done in the previous missions. It is highly recommended to fully charge your Strobulb and stun multiple ghosts instead of one at a time. The last round may be the most chaotic, but as long as you keep calm and not panic, you can defeat the ghosts fairly easily. Once the final round concludes, you can use the established strategy to capture the final layer of the Overset Possessor.
