Clean up the Webs

The webs may appear at random locations across multiple runs. However some objectives will remain consistent. Enemies may also randomly spawn at different locations across multiple attempts. You will need to clear at most 45 Webs to complete this mission. The exclamation points on your map indicate the areas where there are webs found.

Look for Webs Near the Guard Hall

For areas near Guard Hall, you may find webs in the Garage, the Front Yard, or the Mudroom. Webs found in the Guard Hall can be found on the suits of armor. Cautiously approach each suit of armor and examine whether or not a web is present on the armor. Be wary of the spiders that fall and the swords that the armors swing.

Look for Webs Near the Common Hall

Suck up the ball of web found in the Common Hall and set it on fire with the candle. Check your map if there are webs to be found in the Lab, Secret Pocket, Studio, Kitchen and Patio. Once checked, walk towards the giant web blockade to clear a path. You can also use the lit ball of web to take care of the spiders that will spawn. Use the Dark-Light Device on the painting once the webs are gone.

Go into the library and you'll notice that the piano and some of the book stacks are missing. Scan the area with your Dark-Light Device and gather all the Spirit Balls in the Library to make the Boo appear. Once the Boo is captured, clear any remaining webs in the room. Go to the Patio to capture a Greenie and Golden Greenie. Go back inside and go up the stairs in the Foyer.

Look for Webs Near the Lobby

Once in the Lobby, check your map if there are webs to be found in the Balcony, Dining Room, and Library. Go to the Lobby to capture some Greenies, then use the Dark-Light Device to reveal the door to the Balcony. Capture the Spirit Balls, then pass through the door.

Use the Strobulb to set the grill on fire, then vacuum the webbed bundle hanging from the ceiling towards the lit grill. Then walk towards the ball of web by the door to the Dining Room. Vacuum the ball of web and take it to the grill to set it on fire. Afterwards, take it to the big web at the end of the Balcony. Enter the Dining Room, and get the Gold Bone from the cart on the East Wall. Then exit through the Library. .

Use the Dark-Light Device to set the painting aflame, then use the Poltergust to vacuum the ball of web. Take it towards the flame, to clear the big web blocking the exit to the Lobby.

Look for Webs Near the Master Hall

Once in the Master Hall, check your map if there are webs to be found in the Bedroom, Study, Parlor. Go into the Master Hall and vacuum the web by the painting causing it to hit the candle. Vacuum the webbed bundle from the ceiling while avoiding the spiders and get it near the toppled candle. This will cause the webbed ceiling to be set on fire, and a ball of web will fall down. Vacuum the ball of web, take it to the candle, then use it to clear the other giant webs in the Master Hall.

Head into the Bedroom and clear the area of ghosts. Stoke the fire on the stove, then blow onto the ceiling fan to clear the webs. Get the Mushroom Amethyst from behind the dressing screen. Once all rooms are cleared, exit to the Master Hall and pull on the hanging cord to get to the Rafters.

Look for Webs Near the Rafters

Once in the Rafters, use the Strobulb on the safe by the ladder. Then clear the area of webs while taking great caution when approaching the suits of armor. Walk along the narrow plank to the other side. Use the Dark-Light Device on the painting to set it ablaze, then use the Poltergust to vacuum the webbed bundle towards the flame.

Continue along the walkway clearing webs along the way. Make sure to inspect the dresser before taking care of the web to get the Coffin Amethyst. Use the Dark-Light Device on the painting to set it ablaze, then use the Poltergust to vacuum the webbed bundle towards the flame to complete the mission.

Gem #1 (Circle Amethyst)

Where to Find	Mudroom Exterior

Head to the Entrance after obtaining the Strobobulb. Go into the east room, and flash the light there to unlock the door to the Mudroom Exterior. Head Norwest, then aim up and use the Poltergust to vacuum it from the tree.

Head out to the Front Yard, use the Strobulb on the second flower from the right, and the flower will drop the Triangle Amethyst

Gem #3 (Rectangle Amethyst)

Where to Find	Parlor

Head towards the Master Hall, and proceed towards the door located on the southwest portion of the map. From there, head inside the room and aim your Strobulb towards the clock inside the Parlor to acquire the Rectangle Amethyst.

Where to Find	Studio

Head towards the Study, and roll up the carpet to reveal a switch that turns off the fireplace in the room. Proceed towards the fireplace to reach the Studio. Proceed towards the window curtain on the northwest, and suck up the left portion of the curtain using the Poltergust.

Where to Find	Dining Room

Head to the Dining Room, and proceed towards the east portion area of the room. Aim your Strobulb to the ceiling, and look for a safe. Once you've flashed the safe, the gem will fall down from it.

Gem #7 (Rhombus Amethyst)

Where to Find	Kitchen

Interact with the fridge in the kitchen to open it. Suck up the block of ice using the Poltergust, and place it above the fire stove to melt it. From there, acquire the gem from the melted ice.

Flash your Strobulb on the west portion of the Patio to reveal a hidden door. Suck up the Spirit Balls that emerged, and proceed inside the room. From there, use the Poltergust to vacuum the gem inside the aquarium located on the west end of the room.

Shine the Dark-Light Device on the left side of the fountains to reveal the missing one. Suck up the Spirit Balls using the Poltergust, and claim the gem that fell on the grass.

Flash the Strobulb on the west portion of the Library to reveal a globe. Suck up the Spirit Balls that are flying around the room. Vacuum the globe in the library using the Poltergust, and fire it towards the fireplace to reveal a hidden gem inside it.

Vacuum the curtains located on the portrait at the west part of the wall facing you. From there, flash the Strobulb on the portrait to reveal a hidden gem inside it.

Proceed towards the southeast portion of the area until you reach a mirror at the corner of the area. Vacuum the gem above the mirror to acquire it.

Gem #13 (Mushroom Amethyst)

Where to Find	Bedroom

Ignite the stove, then use the Poltergust to make the ceiling fan rotate in the Bedroom. The ball of web attached to it will spin around and get caught on fire. Once the web burns away from the dressing screen, go behind it to acquire the gem.
