An object stuck onto the Poltergust can be blown away by using ZL in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon). Read on for more information on how to get the vacuum unstuck and which objects can get stuck on your Poltergust 5000.
The Poltergust 5000 can both suck in air and blow air out. ZR is used to vacuum up objects, while ZL can be used to blow away objects.
If an object gets stuck onto your Poltergust while vacuuming, you can easily get it unstuck by pressing ZL, which should shoot out the offending object.
If you vacuum up a balloon from a plant, you can blow air into it in order to inflate it. Blow and suck air from the balloon in order to control it.
If you vacuum up an object connected to something else like a part of the wall or a hanging rope, you can also get the vacuum unstuck by pulling the object.
Use the left control stick while vacuuming to pull the object towards Luigi and fill the gauge. Once the gauge is full, press the A button to either completely pull the object off or trigger the mechanism it's connected to.
Large objects that can't really fit into the vacuum's opening such as balls of web, buckets, and spike balls all get stuck upon being vacuumed. This allows you to carry these objects around and use them to solve puzzles within the missions.
When rescuing a Toad for a mission, you can help move them through difficult areas by picking them up with your vacuum. Upon vacuuming a Toad, they will be stuck onto the Poltergust until you blow them out using ZL.
