Complete a 25-floor run to unlock Endless Mode in the ScareScraper of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. Read on to learn how to unlock Endless mode for all game modes in the ScareScraper and more!
To unlock Endless Mode, you need to complete a 25-floor run for a game mode, which includes beating the final boss of the ScareScraper at the 25th floor.
You can change the number of floors before starting a ScareScraper run while setting up a lobby in the ScareScraper menu.
Do note that you can choose any difficulty option as there are no difficulty requirements to unlock Endless. This means that you can play in Normal difficulty if you want an easier run.
Multiplayer Guide: How to Play ScareScraper
Completing a 25-floor run will not unlock Endless for all ScareScraper modes, as it will only be unlocked for the mode that you just completed.
You need to complete an entire run for all four modes if you want to unlock Endless for everything.
For example, if you complete a 25-floor run in Hunter Mode, you will only unlock Endless for that mode and not in Rush, Polterpup, or Surprise.
As the name suggests, Endless Mode is a difficulty and floor option where all Luigis can climb the skyscraper for as long as they can per run.
As this mode has no end, there will be no final boss to fight as Luigi will never reach the rooftop.
In Endless Mode, the floors you completed per run are the ones logged in the leaderboard instead of the time it took to complete a run, which is what the other three modes are using.
Endless Mode will build up its difficulty as you clear floors and go higher in the ScareScraper, which makes it difficult to play solo if you want to register a high floor score.
Bosses in Endless have more HP than in Normal, which makes this mode somewhat close to Hard or even Expert.
If you want to get more out of Endless Mode after unlocking it, it is advised to play with other players.
