The following enemies aren't your usual scary ghosts, but may hinder Luigi during his excursions.

Gold Variants

Non-ghost enemies come in gold variants which reward you with more treasure when defeated. These gold variants spawn at random, and will be found where their regular counterparts are found.

How to Fight Non-Ghost Enemies

Flash Them with the Strobulb

To beat most non-ghost enemies, you simply need to flash them with the Strobulb, to turn them into treasure, which you can gather afterwards.

Shoot an Object into the Flytrap Mouth

In most cases, you have to shoot either a Spiked Ball or a flaming object into the mouth of a Flytrap to defeat it. Flashing it with the Strobulb does not do any damage on it.
