Each mansion in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon) is concluded after defeating and completing the boss mission. See a list of Bosses, their respective missions, as well as how to beat them.

Spider Boss (Grouchy Possessor)

As soon as you regain control of Luigi, inspect the objects in the Lobby for treasure. Other areas in the mansion will be unavailable for the duration of the mission. Attempting to go elsewhere in the mansion will result in a call from E. Gadd. When you're ready ride the elevator to the Cellar.

Staircase Boss (Harsh Possessor)

Head up the ladder and you are now on the Tree House. There will be another flight of stairs there, so walk up to it and it's actually the Boss. Defeat the Giant Staircase and capture the Harsh Possessor to obtain a fragment of the Dark Moon and complete the mission.

Clock Boss (Overset Possessor)

When the mission starts, you'll be in the Clock Tower Gate. Check for clues to reveal the door to Movements. Use the Poltergust on the valves of the three large gears to cause the platform to rise. Once it reaches its maximum height, pass through the door to the Belfry. Approach the ladder to trigger another cutscene. Defeat the Overset Possessor and retrieve the Dark Moon piece to end the mission.

Ice Boss (Shrewd Possessor)

You will begin the mission in the Workshop Landing. Activate the door with your strobe light, then enter to encounter the Shrewd Possessor. Defeat it to get a Dark Moon piece.

Uncover the ice monster's face using the sled-mounted shooter. Do not overheat the shooter. Destroy the ice panels before they regenerate.

Knight Boss (Tough Possessor)

When you regain control, you'll be transported into the Terrace. When you attempt to get the Dark Moon piece from the suit of armor in the room, a cutscene triggers and the Tough Possessor will take control of multiple suits of armor. Defeat the Tough Possessor over the course of three phases to obtain the Dark Moon piece.

King Boo (Final Boss)

This is it. All you have to do is defeat King Boo over the course of a 5-Phased Boss fight. Once defeated, use the Dark-Light Device on the painting trapping Mario and the game concludes.
