This is a walkthrough for all gems in B1 A Job for a Plumber, as well as how to clear the level and find the boo in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD for the Nintendo Switch. B-1 Objectives

B-1 How to Get 3 Stars

Entrance

Once you get here, strobe the nearby flowers on the left for some bills and the flower on the other side for a Key. You can also vacuum the fallen leaves under the tree and examine it for some Gold Bars.

Check the window out to see a Slammer trying to fix the Hydro Generator. Proceed by using the Key on the gate and head into the Courtyard.

Courtyard

There's a few optional things you can do here like vacuuming the leaf on the west side for a decent amount of gold. Suck up the pink plant in the pipe to get a frog to strobe for more gold. On the east there's another flower you can strobe for bills.

On each side you will see two circular stone pressure plates which will reveal a cardboard plant monster. With your vacuum, grab the prickly fruit of the spike ball plant on the west side and aim it towards the enemy for some coins. Head east to the Hydro Generator to progress.

Hydro Generator

Once you enter, the Slammer will head upstairs, so go ahead and check on the Hydro Generator where E. Gadd will ask you to check the Water Supply on the roof.

Head right, and the Key can be found inside the Treasure Chest. If you've gathered enough gold, a Gold Bone may also spawn when investigating a barrel.

Near the Chest, use your Dark-light to reveal a drawer. Examine it and Mamboo will pop out so go grab it like you have any other Boo. Head back out West by using your Dark-light to make the door reappear.

Fix the Water Pump on the Roof

Courtyard and Tower Lobby

Head out of the Hydro Generator room and go to the door where you sucked up the leaf on the west side of the Courtyard to use your new Key. Once you're at the Tower Lobby, feel free to grab any Coins and Strobe the frogs.

Using your Dark-light, point it to the wall next to the ivy and barrel to reveal a door. Gather the Spirit Balls to access the door.

Greenhouse

Make your way towards the exit on the west side and Greenies will appear with shovels. Wait for them to attack and strobe them while they have their backs turned to you. Repeat for the next wave of Greenies.

After taking care of the Greenies, you can suck up all the dangling greens on the ceiling for a ton of Bills. Head outside the exit and you will be back at the Tower Lobby.

Tower Lobby

Once out of the Greenhouse, use your Dark-light to reveal a door to your left. The door leads to the Maintenance and West Garden. You can't do anything here for now minus a few frogs so head out.

Between the stairs and the door, there's a small opening that you can walk into to grab the Gem. Afterwards, head up the stairs and head to the Plant nursery while strobing the Golden Bat and vacuuming the leaf on top of the barrel along the way.

Plant Nursery

Once you get inside, you'll notice gigantic flytraps waiting in the room. Head east while hugging the wall close to the foreground to find another spiky fruit. Just like in the Courtyard, suck up the fruit and aim it towards the plant's head. Once the reticle appears, fling the Spike Ball to the plant to kill it. Do the same for the other head.

Once the plant dies, grab the Key inside the chest and head to the door to the east.

Tower Lobby and Skybridge

Once out of the Nursery, head to the door to the east again, remembering to not step on the carpet. Once you arrive at the skybridge, you will be greeted by a murder of crows circling together.

Just walk across the Skybridge while waiting for the crows to stop passing through the open slots. If you want, you can wait for Golden Crows to appear for free Gold Blocks. Head east to get to the Lab.

Laboratories

Using your Key, head inside the Laboratory. Prioritize the Golden Mouse and then the Slammer. Once you beat the Slammer, three Greenies will follow with one holding a shovel. After that, comes the final wave of two Slammers.

After beating all the ghosts, head east and you will be trapped with a pink bulb. Vacuum this bulb, blow air to inflate it, then use it to balloon yourself up to the top making sure to evade the spikes along the way. Using this, you can go ahead and grab the Triangle Emerald behind some webs inside the first tube you saw when you entered the room.

You can use the Bulb inside the tube to go up to the top left to get to the door towards the Water Supply or hop onto a ledge in the south east part of the room to get a Gold Bulb that will make coins appear when floating.

Water Supply

Head up the stairs and suck up the flower along the way for some Hearts and some Gold Bars behind the Water supply itself. Use your Dark-light on the left corner to reveal a chest with more treasure inside.

Vacuum the nearby bucket to reveal a Greenie. Wait for the Greenie to check where it is so you can stun it and suck it up. Grab the bucket after defeating the Greenie.

Pick up the bucket and put it back under the pipe leaking sludge. Once filled, take it to the pressure switch in the middle of the Water Supply and have Luigi stand on the other switch. Strobe the switches to get the Water Supply going.

After fixing the Water Supply, a Gobber will appear. Use your charged hit on it while striding to evade its attacks and it should go down easily. The mission will end after beating it!

Where to Find	Tower Lobby

Head towards the area behind the first flight of stairs in the Tower Lobby. From there, acquire the gem you find in the area.

Gem #2 (Triangle Emerald)

Use a bulb to access the floor above you. Float towards the west portion of the area, and descend down the opening of the tank. From there, vacuum the webs surrounding the gem and acquire it.

MamBoo Location

Enter the hydro generator and use the Dark-Light Device in the east side of the room, where a drawer originally was. The drawer is on the left side of the chest, then suck up all the spirit balls to reveal the Boo.
