How to Complete A Backwoods Burial

How to Begin the Sidequest

To begin this sidequest, you need to talk to Dave. Go to Old Lestallum Outpost, and look for Dave in the corner of a yellow building. Speak with him to start a conversation about finding the Dog Tag. Finish the conversation to start the sidequest.

Get the Scratched Dog Tag

Open your map, and choose the A Backwoods Burial sidequest. Follow the location shown to find the Scratched Dog Tag. Take note that Havocfangs are protecting the area, defeat those first before looking for the Scratched Dog Tag. You'll see the Dog Tag in front of the abandoned barn.

Return to Dave

Go back to Old Lestallum Outpost, where you found Dave. Then, give the Scratched Dog Tag to complete this sidequest.
