How to Begin the Sidequest

To begin this sidequest, you need to talk with the man outside the Z Motel at Longwythe Rest Area. He will tell you that he found an Envelope for Meldacio. Help him deliver the Sealed Envelope to the head hunter.

Talk to Dave

Go to the small white house across Z Motel, and talk to the guy in front of it. Give him the Sealed Envelope, and a conversation with Dave will start. He will mention about Dog Tags and will ask for a favor to collect one. But first, go to the local Tipster at Crew's Nest Diner to have a map of the area.

Get the Broken Dog Tag

Open your map, and choose the Gone Hunting sidequest. Follow the location shown, then examine the first location. It will give you another area to locate after; go there to find the Broken Dog Tag. Take note that Sabertusks are protecting the area, defeat those first before picking up the Dog Tag.

Return to Dave

Go back to Longwythe Rest Area, where you found Dave. Then, give the Dog Tag to complete this sidequest.
