2 to 3 years for the second part!?!? Why not just make dlcs instead of 2 completely different games? Will my gear and matera convert over to the next, will I have to level everything over again? I remember the grind on the original, that was part of the whole experience. I guess they forgot to add that in as well.
Talking about the plot. The one they are about to change. And I'm not going to kill myself over a salty guy on the internet that prolly has no life.
Wow dave, just wow lol. I 50/50 agree with Dave. I think the FF7 Remake definitely gave side-characters like Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge a spotlight. They definitely were on point with making us care deeply for Avalanche, Cloud, and everyone else. I think the characterization was better than the originals, this is most likely more because of how modern the game is and what tools they had at their disposal (better animation, facial expressions, etc.).
It’s a fricken “REMAKE” not “REMASTERED” So stop crying about how it should be with the original. And what they did with the game is amazing..10/10 for me. You guys are just salty cause they’re releasing it in parts.

Original avalanche.... last time I remembered, the only avalanche members are the three musketeers and Barret.
But seeing how people react just by saying people are not happy with the story immediately say everything good about the game and u should be happy? I kinda dont care about these new players anymore. They can fuck themselves for all I care now. Looking forward to part 2.
Im not happy for the new fans that will think this is the same game we loved all those years. Im happy and completely open for a new experience.
And I never said I would like a frame btly frame copy. Im saying they shouldny have changed the story. Otherwise, this would be a perfect game. I what sense sid I say "bad gameplay, bad music, bad graphics"? I am happy about how the game turned out except the story.
The game is indeed amazing but imaging your favorite food suddenly getting sugar and people calls it a new dish. And i heavilly disagree with the story is deeper. The originals story is as deep as it can get already.
The original game still exists. Remakes are adaptations so if you don't like it, just stick to the original.
Be happy. The game is much better now. The story is deeper. The battle gameplay is clean and works very well. It follows the same story, but only tells it more thoroughly. What did you expect, a frame by frame copy with updated graphics? No thanks. I’ll take the updated story telling, gameplay, and depth. After finishing the game and logging 42 hours, I can say all of my expectations were exceeded. If you’re a true ff7 die hard, you’ll think the same.
