Fist weapons are lighter than your other weapons giving you a significant attack speed advantage. This weapon type also allows you to pick up a downed enemy and throw them against other enemies giving you a ranged attack. Use this to your advantage, land quick attacks to bring an enemy down and then throw them at other enemies.
One can never go wrong with the classic sword and shield combo. The one-handed sword is one of the earliest available weapon giving you enough time to fully get used to the feel of using it in combat. Pairing it with a shield allows for a more defensive approach to combat.
Imbued with magic, this weapon type allows you to use powerful magic against enemies while keeping you at a safe distance. Compared to other weapon types, this weapon is a late bloomer as it shows its true value in the latter half of the season when the environment is aligned to the nature of your magical abilities.

Weapon Feature |
---|
Higher Damage Output Wider Attack Range |
Long swords are distinctively larger than one-handed swords. This weapon type deals more damage, but at the cost of some mobility when you chain your attacks.
Weapon Feature |
---|
Longer Reach, Better at Keeping Enemies at a Distance Gives Good Defense Buffs |
Spears are good for keeping enemies from closing in on you while also dealing damage in the process. This weapon type utilizes a linear attack pattern, making it difficult to use when surrounded by enemies.
Weapon Feature |
---|
Hammers deal blunt damage capable of stunning enemies Axes deal heavy critical damage |
Hammers deal heavy blunt damage that is capable of stunning enemies to give you a window to land more critical hits, while the Axe already deals higher damage and has a higher critical damage output. Both deal powerful heavy blows, so choose the one that suits your needs.
Weapon Feature |
---|
Quick Attacks, but Low Damage Output Good for inflicting status ailments. |
Dual blades are very effective when it comes to inflicting status ailments, alongside its already impressive attack speed. While the damage output of this weapon is not as high as the other weapons in this list, it more than makes for it with its critical bonuses when attacking an enemy afflicted with a status ailment.
