Dual Blades for Fast Attacks

Dual Blades are the best for someone who wants to quickly defeat enemies. Its high attack rate can easily cut down a single enemy. Use these blades if you want to simplify combat.

Its drawbacks are that you need to rely on dodging for defense and you cannot easily handle huge crowds of enemies.

Fists for AoE Damage

Fists also have a high attack, but they have access to grappling moves. These moves, particularly Slam and Swing, are ranged attacks that can hit multiple enemies.

This weapon type is great for higher leveled Wanted Monsters, since the throws will deal guaranteed damage.

Sword and Shield Combo

If you prefer having a mix of defense and offense, pair a Short Sword with a Shield. It is accessible in the early game, giving you enough time to fully get used to the feel of using it in combat.

Staff for Magic Attacks

Imbued with magic, this weapon type allows you to use powerful elemental magic against enemies at a range. However, it truly shines in the late-game when you have enough magic spells and when the current season buffs your element.

How to Create Weapons

Get Forging License and Forge

You must first get a Forging License from Eliza. It will be unlocked once you meet her.

Then, you need to buy the Forge from Studio Palmo. It costs 3,000G, 25 Material Stone, and 30 Lumber.

Recipe is Not Required

Even if you don't know the recipe of a weapon, you can cook it if the combination of ingredients is correct.

However, making a weapon this way has a risk of failing. Make sure to save before crafting to save the materials.
