Kelve Lava Caves Walkthrough Summary

How to Reach Kelve Lava Caves

1	Look for Beatrice and Reinhard inside the Field Captain's Office
2	Rest on your bed
3	Go to the Great Tree Plaza for an event ★ Decide on who will work at the Bakery and at the General Store
4	Rest on your bed
5	Meet Scarlett inside the Field Captain's Office
6	Head to Kelve Lava Caves located northwest of the village

RF5 - choosing who will work at the bakery

The next day after meeting Reinhard and Beatrice, an event will occur with Priscilla and Lucy if you go to the Grand Tree Plaza. Their daily behavior pattern will change accordingly, but your choice won't affect the story. The outcome of this event is also irreversible.

Inside Kelve Lava Caves

1	Defeat the Fire Slimes and their gate to proceed north ★ You'll run in to a chest on the right side of the path containing a Water Laser spell
2	Make your way to Kelve Lava Caves 3F and defeat the Basilisk
3	Rest on your bed
4	On the next day, check up on Scarlett

1. Get the Water Laser near the entrance

RF5 - Water Laser

Before you reach the first gate inside the dungeon, you'll run into a chest near the entrance containing the spell Water Laser. This spell is effective against most enemies inside the cave so use it for a faster dungeon clear.

Find various ores inside the caves

RF5 - ores in the Kelve Lava Caves

You can find a lot of ore deposits inside the caves that you can smash with your hammer to obtain minerals like Copper and Iron. Get as much as you can as they are required in making and upgrading Farm Tools.

How to Beat Basilisk

Battle Tips

・Beware of Poison status ・Keep distance when it coils

Beware of Poison Status

The Basilisk's bites have a chance to inflict Poison on hit. These attacks are quick so bring some Antidote Grass with you just in case to stop the Poison's continuous damage.

Keep distance when it coils

This boss usually coils its tail or even its entire body when it's about to do a powerful attack. Get away from the Basilisk when it does and wait for it to finish the attack before closing in again and landing a few hits.
