Everlasting Darkness Walkthrough Summary

How to Reach Everlasting Darkness

1	Return to the captain's office for a cutscene and to unlock Everlasting Darkness
2	Warp to Atohl's End: Manor
3	Defeat the Dragon Mummy again and follow the path to the next area
4	Pass through the door and enter the Everlasting Darkness

Inside Everlasting Darkness

1	Head east to find the door that leads to the next floor ★ Your RP will gradually deplete inside the Everlasting Darkness. ★ Obtain the recipe for Sacred Pole by following the path south until you reach a door that leads to the separated platform.
2	Follow the path southwest to the next floor
3	Follow the spiraling path of 3F to the boss room ★ Obtain Sparkle from a chest on the southwest platform.
4	Defeat Umbradea ★ You will automatically return to Rigbarth after the cutscene and the town will return to normal.

・Keep your distance when it summons dark tornadoes

Keep your distance when it summons dark tornadoes

RF5 - Umbradea dark tornadoes

Stay away from Umbradea when it starts glowing as it follow up by unleashing four dark tornadoes around her twice. Wait for her to finish the attack before you close in again.

For some reasons, this part of the dungeon doesn't deplete your RP continuously so you can opt to safely cast spells from a distance, especially if you're low on HP.

Tips for Clearing Everlasting Darkness

Raise your level to around 85

Bring RP recovery items

Avoid using Ultimate Attacks

Raise your level to around 85

Before you enter Everlasting Darkness, be sure to raise your level to round 85. In addition to the continuous RP drain, many enemies will gang up on you on each of the dungeon's platform, making it difficult to pass through if you're underleveled.

Bring RP recovery items

RF5 - Everlasting Darkness RP drain

The Everlasting Darkness will continuously drain your RP as long as you're inside. The amount of RP taken away on each tick also increases as you delve deeper into the dungeon so prepare some food that can restore RP before entering.

Take note that you can also warp back to Rigbarth if you need to restock recovery items or if you want to rest on your bed.

Avoid using Ultimate Attacks

RF5 - enemies in Everlasting Darkness

Each platform in this dungeon is swarming with monsters that can easily overwhelm you if you don't take them out quickly.

As you perform combos to deal with the mosnters, be careful not to execute Ultimate Attacks as they consume RP on each cast. These attacks will take a chunk of your HP instead if you're out of RP, and since this dungeon continuously drains your RP, it would be better to not use them at all.

Cancel your combo before you execute an Ultimate Attack by dashing to save your HP and RP.
