Buff-a-Move Festival Guide and Prizes

This is a guide to Buff-a-Move, a Contest Festival held on Summer 11 in Rune Factory 5. Learn how to win Buff-a-Move and all the prizes available for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and participation.

Buff-a-Move Basic Information

You can participate in the Buff-a-Move Festival by talking to Simone at the Festival Ground beginning at 11 AM on the day of the Festival. Along with being your only way to participate in the Event, Simone will also be able to provide you with information on the rules of the event, and who the most likely winners are.

How to Win Buff-a-Move Festival

Dash Away

The primary objective of the game is to use the Dash mechanic to move out of the way of any incoming Buffamoos. To do this correctly, wait for the animals to come near you as they charge before Dashing away to register a successful dodge.

Dodging Yellow and Gray Buffamoos will yield decent and high points respectively, while Blue Buffamoos will yield more. Managing to perform "Perfect" Dashes will also help to give the player more points.

Points Needed

In order to top the rankings for this contest, you will need to gain at least 17,000 Points.

Dashing away from Buffamoos without getting hit by them will apply a multiplier to the amount of points you get, while getting hit by them will take away points as well as end any point multiplier you get from dodging Buffamoos consecutively.
