Use An Account That Has Rune Factory 4 Save Data

Players can easily link their saved data from Rune Factory 4 to Rune Factory 5 by simply making use of an account that has a Rune Factory 4 save data in it. From there, simply start Rune Factory 5 with this account, and the data will be linked automatically.

From there, any bonuses that can be gained from the linking will be present as soon as you reach the Inn.

How to Unlock Margaret and Doug

Unlocks With Linked Save Data

The first of two bonuses that you can get by linking your Rune Factory 4 Save Data, both Margaret and Doug, who are characters in Rune Factory 4, will be unlocked and available to join your party.

After starting the game with an account with a Rune Factory 4 Save Data in it, players can then play through the beginning of the game until they meet Margaret and Doug in the Blue Moon Inn.

Margaret and Doug Cannot Be Married

Unlike their character roles in Rune Factory 4, you cannot marry either Margaret or Doug. You can, however, raise your Friendship Level with them as well as invite them both to your party.
