This is a guide to Buddy Battle Festival, a Contest Festival held on Summer 15 in Rune Factory 5. Learn how to win Buddy Battle Festival and all the prizes available for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and participation.

You can enter the Buddy Battle Festival between the times of 11 am and 6pm. Talk to Simone at the Festival Grounds when you are ready. She will also give you an explanation of the rules, as well as who is favored to win the tournament.
In the Buddy Battle Mission, you will battle for a total of three 3 rounds against other villagers and their team of monsters. Each round lasts 1 minute, and you cannot give commands to your monsters. Winning the battle allows you to proceed to the next round, whereas losing will end your chances of proceeding as well as end the Tournament.

The strength of your monsters is based on their current level, so make sure to fight monsters in the Field before trying the Buddy Battle Festival.

Boss Monsters are by far some of the strongest monsters available to have in your party. If you would like to win the Buddy Battle Festival with ease, it is recommended that you add Boss Monsters to your party.

Level 20 is not enough to win the first round. I went in with two level 27's and still lost. My ninetails did precisely 0 damage to Randolph's monsters. :/
