This is a guide to Seaside Lights Festival, a Contest Festival held on Summer 19 in Rune Factory 5. Learn how to invite a bachelor or bachelorette to the Seaside Lights Festival, and how to watch Fireflies with them!

The Seaside Lights Fesitval does not really have any contest that players can participate in. What makes Seaside Lights valuable as an event, however, is that it offers players a way to greatly increase their Friendship Level with a character of their choice.
The likelihood of a character coming with the player to the event however will be tempered by the existing level of friendship they may have with a character, with low Friendship Levels resulting in the character rejecting your advances. When ready, speak to Simone at the Beach at around 6 PM to begin.

When to talking to Simone on the beach, you will be asked to take part in the festivities. Choosing to join will bring up a prompt for choosing amongst several Bachelors and Bachelorettes to join you for viewing the Fireflies in the area.
Depending on a player's Friendship Level with a character, they may or may not choose to join you in viewing the Fireflies. It is highly recommended that you save your game before starting the Festival, just so that you can reload your save whenever an invite to a character fails – this allows you to try again until you get the character to join you.
