The Bean-Throwing Festival is a Contest Festival that you can partake in beginning at 11AM and held in the Festival Grounds. Head to the area when ready and talk to Simone to join. She will also provide you with other details such as the rules of the contest and favored winners.

How to Win Bean-Throwing Festival

Grab Beans, Dodge Dishes

The Bean-Throwing contest is fairly simple to understand. You'll play the role of a "catcher" – a group of three characters will be right in front of you. They will continuously throw beans at you, with failed dishes mixed in between. The objective of the contest is to gather as many beans as you can while avoiding the dishes.

There are three colors to the beans – Green, Black, and Pink. Both the Green and Black colored beans will be thrown frequently, while the Pink one will only be thrown once. Black and Pink Beans will earn you more points compared to the basic Green.

Points Needed

To get the top spot, you will have to earn at least 7035 points. Each bean that you collect during the contest will gradually increase the amount of points you can gain from each bean. Getting hit by a failed dish instead, however, will cause this bonus to your points to cancel out, making it harder to earn enough points the more you allow yourself to get hit by the dishes.
